Eco-Friendly Families: Guide your family to greener living with activities that will engage and inspire - from toddlers to teens
Alpha/Penguin
ISBN 978-1592577613

Eco-friendly is a buzz word we’re all familiar with these days.  We’re all about going green, and it’s often the birth of a child that encourages us to think
more seriously about Mother Earth and how we treat it (we don’t call it Mother Earth for nothing!).  Concern for the environment and the health and well-
being of our children leads to a better lifestyle for the whole family; eco-friendliness has moved from something only a few people worried about to a way-
of-life across the country.

Eco-Friendly Families is the perfect guide to raising a family green, whether the coming year will be your first Earth Day or you’ve been recycling, eating
organic, and carrying your own cloth bag to the market for decades.  It helps get the whole family on board, so that parents and kids can all live by eco-
example. Topics include:

        Going green as a family affair – getting everyone on board
        Making the most of your precious resources environmentalism, conservatism, activism, and advocacy
        Exploring areas of opportunity that tap into the strengths of each member of the family
        Earth Day can be every day with activities that make living green fun
        Growing up green – what everyone can do around the house, at school, at work, and on vacation
        Family fun the eco-conscious way
        Raising responsible citizens
